Five more sound bites

Interview questions from ndkid :

1. Do you practice ageism when evaluating sexual partners?

Not really – my criteria have more to do with intelligence, geekiness, and shared kinks. Legal age of consent is a necessity, of course. Beyond that, I prefer a certain depth of experience and viewpoint; my current experience shows that depth to be uncommon, but not necessarily rare in younger adults. Some of my older partners have had problems in that area, as well.

2. In your entire life, what song has gotten stuck in your head more than any other?

I’m pretty good at mentally dismissing earworms. But the sight of fungus in real life, WoW, or even a cooking show will still instantly trigger “Mushroom, mushroom!” in my head.

3. Who was the best James Bond?

I grew up on Roger Moore, and thought George Lazenby got a bum rap, but I’ll have to be quite cliche and name Sean “Goldfinger” Connery as the actor who brought Fleming’s original character to life for me.

4. Who was the best Batman?

Kevin Conroy, of the Animated Series. (I will always have a soft spot for Adam West, though.)

5. What popular fictional character do you feel you are most similar to?

When I was little, I decided to be Spock: since he had no feelings, no one could ever hurt them. (Yes, but I was little.) From there I evolved into Eeyore: quiet, withdrawn, depressed, but still able to recognize and return friendship. I think maybe I’ve now become Indiana Jones: still foolhardy, often making it up as I go, but having a good time and surrounded by great friends. I would like at some point to extend this to Buckaroo Banzai status.

    I haven’t been questioned in a while if you’re up for it…

Besides job, S.O., and Disney, what do you like best about where you live?

Starr and I need a good two-player board game that one won’t find at Toys’R’Us. What do you recommend?

How old were you when you knew you were gay?

You’ve got a great job. Is this it for the next 20 years, or is there a dream you’d still love to chase?

What upcoming movie do you most look forward to? Why?
