What is wrong with people?
There is a Yu-Gi-Oh card going on eBay right now for $25,000. (Auction ends 12/15.)
I don’t care how rare it is or what it does in the game. That’s just sad.

Especially considering that much money could have bought, what, seven THOUSAND cards? And that’s at straight retail for boosters. Buying by the case would be get even more.
I’d wager that even the most ultra-rare card would eventually turn up in that big a pile. 9.9
Well, okay, now that I’ve actually looked at the auction, I see you can’t just buy one. But then again, with seven thousand cards, you could build one KILLER deck without one of those. 😉
I think what scares me about this is the sheer number of people who are willing to spend more than, oh, $300 on the card. (I admit to having paid $300 for the Black Lotus that finished my Beta Magic set, so clearly that’s not an insane amount. *grin*)
