One more concert addendum…
Of course, Keith Brinegar won the tickets. He wins radio station contests constantly – the DJs all know him by name. *sigh*
Well, that concert I mentioned is Tuesday the 30th in Virginia Beach, so I wouldn’t possibly have been able to go anyway. It figures, ’cause I could easily have won the tickets this morning by identifying the three TV show themes.
I hope my sweetie feels better. raininva was not well last night, and not a lot better this morning. She says she’s going to leave work as soon as she can do so without penalty, which is good. Go home and rest, hun! I love you!
Where’s that lottery money?
So, this morning in Tokyo, Steve Jobs announced a 10 gigabyte iPod for $500. I’m not sure that if added every CD I own to my MP3 collection that I’d have 10 gigs, even if I tossed in a gig of files to use it as an emergency boot drive. Heck, put a color screen on that puppy and you could watch ripped DVDs off of it!
Apple: “Yes, we’re expensive. But isn’t this cool?”
When sampled songs attack
“Legend of a Cowgirl” is a much cooler song than “Sunshine Superman”, which I can’t stand.
However, “You’re so Vain” was fine the way it was and didn’t need sampling, thank you.
