Ringtones
I’ve discovered, to my surprise, that I generally prefer MIDI ringtones to MP3 ringtones. Perhaps it has a little to do with the tiny speaker they’re coming from, and in part because a MIDI just sounds more like a phone-ring sound to me.
My current favorites: katamari.mid – DoctorWho2006.mid – dune.mid
I like technology that beeps.

I wish I could figure out how to get them on my treo! I have a bunch of midi ringtones I like. Meh.
I have been using the file uploader at http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint/index.php – it sends me the files I want as links in text messages. Didn’t work on the old Samsung, but worked great on the RAZR after some fiddling. It’s supposed to work for providers besides Sprint, as well.
I also found another site that converts mp3 files to qcp files, which is what Sprint phones want for ringers. But I like most of my midis better.
