I hate to say it, but the urn is actually pretty classy looking. It could pass for Art Deco easily enough unless someone looks closely to see the engraving on the base.
Umm okay I actually like it. I like the color on it and think the design is cool. I’m also *quite* shocked you wouldn’t want it. I would have actually thought it would be something you would dig. Good to know.
Of course, when I check out, I want my survivors to give me a very modest ceremony (after the hospital has pulled all the good parts) a quiet cremation (though if I have relatives alive, they’ll scream about that), and take the remainder of the life insurance and throw one hell of an Irish wake.
I actually just looked up “pall” and was kind of surprised to discover it’s the sheet over the body, and not the body at all. So ‘appalled’ isn’t so much ‘like a corpse’ as it is ‘with a death-sheet over it.’
You want one in ‘command’ yellow, right?
Are you sure? it actually looks decent.

Mood:appalled
‘cos you’d be DEAD! and they’d be bearing your pall!
(I kill me.)
*confesses* That was on purpose. I’m kinda glad that other people’s minds work that way 🙂

The urn I could accept, by that coffin…

I *live* for that kind of thing. 🙂

(I’ve used many of those words in a similar arrangement in the spoken word myself)
Archeologists would think it’s a religion.
*embarrassed* I actually want one. To, y’know, sleep in like a good little Gothling.
I’m so glad my mother doesn’t read these.
Wakes for the win! Irish wake with plenty of good scotch and good music.
