I have discovered something about this part of Virginia.
If you have to drive anywhere that involves passing through a tunnel, don’t be shocked if you’re late to your destination.

Eh. In this part of California, if you have to drive anywhere that involves a freeway, don’t be shocked if you’re late to your destination. 🙂
Point taken 🙂 Still, I’m used to traffic that at least moves within 10 miles of the speed limit either way.
In your part of Virginia, I’ve only used tunnels when I was (a) sightseeing and/or (b) just wanted to go through one for the sheer novelty of it. The last time I needed to use one, traffic was so horrible it actually took me less time going around a long (long, long) way than it would have taking the underwater route.
