Relax! Don’t Do It!
Taking a nice, quiet weekend this week. There are bunches of really cool people to hang out with down here, which is great… but on the other hand, one can get a little over-socialized. So last night, we watched Deadliest Catch and Good Eats, while today we shopped for scrubs for Starr, made a short trip to Barnes and Noble, and took a leisurely walk around the playgrounds and swimming pools near the apartment. The rest of the day will probably be WoW, or Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, or something else as quiet.
Did you know that there are officially-licensed M*A*S*H and Grey’s Anatomy scrubs available to nurses? Now I want to dig for patterns and fabric to duplicate the ones Dr. McCoy would wear during surgery.
Getting two people to DragonCon and finding them places to stay is turning into an expensive proposition. 🙁 I haven’t given up yet!
Still having one Hades of a time finishing Terran Mission 9 in Starcraft. The cheat codes are calling my name, but I have stood firm this long!!

Is Terran Mission 9 the “survive until this timer runs out” mission?
No, it’s the “Zerg to the left, Protoss to the right, and oh yeah – you can’t destroy a single Zerg building right now” mission.
As soon as I get my defenses aginst the Zerg finalized, the Protoss waltz in from the other side and paste me.
I remember that mission. It’s a big part of why I just started doing the scenarios in the custom game section and leaving the missions alone.
M*A*S*H?!? I LOVE that show! Too bad I have no use for scrubs. 🙁
if all else fails, let me know, I might have room in my room, though I don’t really know.
That would be pretty cool! I’d definitely be able to contribute a share to the room, and it would be fun to room with someone who won’t blink at any of my costume choices 🙂
Heh, sorry, backlogged on my responses….:D but yeah, if you’re still interested, I’ve got room, I believe, although if you have an air mattress you might want to bring it just in case…:laughing: and yeah, most of my things to wear are my garb, so there’s not that much to blink at on my part, and I figure if someone’s willing to wear whatever, their choice…:giggles:
