I feel smug. “Small Eggs” are going for ridiculous amounts of gold in WoW today; Greatfather Winter has arrived in the Dwarven capital city, and there are presents under the Winter’s Veil tree for those who bring him milk and “Gingerbread Cookies”… which need “Small Eggs”.

However, I know a place where I don’t have to compete with any of the other players for bird-monsters from whom I can loot the Eggs. Got enough for myself, Starr, and two alts in 15 minutes, and didn’t see another soul. Hah!

… what? I should be doing something useful today? Sorry, I cleaned and ran errands all week. Today, I’m slacking and proud of it.

You know, I was wondering when the Feast of Winter Veil would start. I honestly forgot about it for a while as the only notable thing I’m doing in WoW these days is either raiding or farming to keep up with my raiding costs, and I’m getting a ton of RL holiday cheer, but it did cross my mind a couple of times to wonder when Greatfather Winter would set up shop.

You can always make money on seasonal stuff: there’s very little these days that isn’t known (Greatfather Winter ALWAYS wants gingerbread cookies and the recipe doesn’t change from year to year), but people are short-sighted and will stupidly pay way too much on the AH for “now now now” items every time. I keep meaning to stock up for something like that, but… well, see above. 🙂

    Slack away!

I thought the milk and cookies thing was supposed to be a daily quest.

You know, I’ve never checked back. I think it’s once per season, but if it’s there tomorrow, I’ll go to my secret spot and get more eggs 🙂

I considered going back to my spot and farming eggs for the AH, but somehow that seems… tacky to me. Silly, I guess.
