Games under the tree

Definitely a traditional Christmas for me… History and Science channels on the tube, wrapping presents for others while being unable to wait to unwrap ours ๐Ÿ™‚

My Munchkin collection is looking healthier! Starr gave me Munchkin Impossible and Munchkin Cthulhu I & II… now we have to invite someone over to play them with us. 2-handed Munchkin is much less fun.

Back in my Decipher days, Justin taught me how to play Carcassonne, and I’ve been wanting a copy for the years since. Never managed to pick it up, but I knew it was fun to play, so I picked up a set as a Christmas present for raininva when I heard she was gaming again. Well, guess what other game I got yesterday ๐Ÿ™‚ Already broken it in, too. Fun!

I saw a copy of the Western Munchkin the other day, I think it was called The Good, The Bad, and the Munchkin.

That was my score on the scifi quiz too, what killed me were the scads of throwaway 50s monster flicks.

*looks at the date* – cheater! ๐Ÿ˜›

I am being *so* good this year. The only xmas gifts I have given out are people I will not see again before xmas and Joe and I only gave each other 2 gifts early. (one ornament each, had to do that early)

    Merry xmas by the way!

Yeah, I think I’m gonna skip the Cowboy version, but there’s a Pirate version coming soon (“Munchkin Booty”) I’ll probably want. I also want the Chibithulhu plushie they’re coming out with.

The monster flicks got me too, I nailed everything else.

And a Merry Xmas to you!

Kept presents pretty basic here too, this was a year to take a deep breath and simplify. It’s actually helped me enjoy the season more!
