More Illumination

Really, I can’t bear to watch this “UFO Files” program for another second.

Yes, I do indeed love the idea of flying saucers and extraterrestrial visitors, for the same reason I dig Atlantis and telekinesis; because it would be cool. But can I please have more than second-hand stories and photographs of indistinct blobs? Could I please please have some indisputable proof, something that could be used to convince almost anyone?

Sagan said “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence,” and I’m not going to argue with the man. I’m not here to debunk anyone. I want to hear the story that shakes the world. But it’s going to take more than “I knew someone who had a friend who worked with a guy who swears he saw stuff in a government document of some kind.”

*Shrug* I can tell you a couple of stories from direct experience, but unfortunately I have no video evidence to back them up. 🙂

I’d honestly love to hear them sometime. I have a few interesting first-hand stories of my own… but nothing I could take to a network. Not even Fox.

Yeah, I’ve seen and heard some creepy stuff, but it just makes for good sitting around shooting the breeze stories, nothing more.

Which reminds me: Feb 29th-Mar 2 still okay with you? I think we will need to crash on your guest bed/sofa if it’s free : )

That’s why I like Ghost Hunters. The difference is that the members of TAPS go out of their way to try to debunk everything they find. They feel it’s better to have a little piece of hard evidence than a bunch of hearsay and “orbs”.

BTW, they had a paranormal investigator who has worked with the TAPS team at BSC for Halloween. Some pretty interesting stuff, including at least one photo that I couldn’t debunk, even with thirty years of photo and effects experience.

Oh, almost forgot! Yes, it ought to be just fine 🙂 See you then!
