that’s where i keep all my stuff!
awesome.
That’s good to know.
No kidding, that question was keeping me up at night.
This is more useful than the one I found today where you type in your zip code and it tells you if you’ll need an umbrella today.
I had to macro. (Possibly nsfw? Jack/Ianto)
*waves at you from Newport News*
By the way, where’s a good place to meet weird (fandom-type) people around here?
Well, con-wise, there’s NekoCon on November 7th-9th and MarsCon in Williamsburg on January 18th-20th. I will be missing the first due to a family matter, but attending the second!
I know there is a chapter of Starfleet in the area, and there was at one time a WhiteWolf LARP group or two. Not sure about other stuff – I am not as involved in organized fandom as I used to be. These days, I mostly hang with some personal friend-type fans, many of whom I met originally at Tech.
On the other hand, I can definitely point you in the direction of some of the alt.lifestyle groups here, which have a substantial fan percentage among them. Your profile hints that you might be interested in such 🙂
Yeah,,, the problem is there’s someone I really need to avoid who knows people in those groups and might show up. Know much about the local SCA?
Not much. I bumped into some of them at a recent Living History event in a local park, they were nice. One of my co-workers and friends from Tech is or was a Baron round these parts, though.
